This song reminds us of a place which is very sacred and a holy shrine for Hindu people. Yes, we are talking about Uttar Pradesh also called as UP situated in the northern part of India. Uttar Pradesh is mainly famous for Taj Mahal which is situated in Agra. An epitome of love constructed by Mughal King Saha Jahan. The Place is also famous for the holy temples, food, flora and fauna and Banarasi Sarees.

1. Stone crafting

The stone craft of Uttar Pradesh has flourished due to the Muslim rulers of the Mughal period. The Taj Mahal in Agra is one of the purest and existing examples of this craft. The light background surface, milky white in colour highlights the numerous multi-coloured textured stones. The designs are often floral motifs, foliage or geometrical patterns with the influence of the Mughal taste of art. Articles made out of these mosaic marbles ensembles include household articles like jewellery, trinket, trays, plates, bowls, candle stand and many more.

2. Chikankari Embroidery

Chikankari or chikan work of Lucknow is the most famous of all the crafts in the state. This is a delicate art of embroidery where a fabric is designed by intricate needlework.
